インドネシア原産の3年〜5年育成されたA級の籐（セガ籐）を使用している商品です。素材も均一化を図るため機械で一定の厚さに整えたものを使用しています。また本間1間（幅191cm）あたりに39穴と通常（通常規格は27〜35穴）より糸数を増やしていますので、目が揃っていて肌触りがよく綺麗です。耐久性が高く、ホーロー質が育っているため天然のひんやり感と艶があり、使うほどに綺麗な飴色に変わっていきます。夏を快適に過ごす素材として長年重宝されています。
