The series latest work of the side-view shooting pyramid "R-TYPE" (Arutaiipu) appears on PlayStation 5.
Based on "R-TYPE FINAL 2," released in April 2021 on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC platforms, with improvements in visual expression technology, over 100 player ships, and more than 20 stages including 7 new stages exclusive to "R-TYPE FINAL 3 EVOLVED," the game offers overwhelming volume as a side-view shooting game.
Players can freely customize their ships with colors and decals to create their own unique ship.
While maintaining the gameplay unique to "R-TYPE," the game maximizes the fun and exhilaration as a side-view shooting game.
More than 20 additional stages, including those already distributed as downloadable content for "R-TYPE FINAL 2," are available for play.
Furthermore, additional stages and player ships will continue to be distributed as downloadable content after release. (Some content may be paid.)
A multiplayer mode called "Competition Mode" is included, allowing up to 6 players to compete in skill.
"R-TYPE" for ace pilots is here! Improve your skills and aim to become the strongest pilot!
