Bialystocks, a two-member band consisting of Sora Hokimoto (Guitar/Vocals) and Go Kikuchi (Keyboards).
Formed in 2019, prompted by the live performance screening of the film "Haruneko" directed by Sora Hokimoto and produced by Shinji Aoyama.
Their combination of soulful and soaring vocals with warm, folk-like melodies, and instruments that freely cross genres while being jazz-based, is regarded as both universal and avant-garde.
This work, "Quicksand," is their second full album. It also marks their major debut from "IRORI records" within Pony Canyon, which also includes Official HIGE DANdism and Skirt.
In April 2022, the ending theme "Sashiiro" for the TV Tokyo drama "Sensei no Otoriyose" was broadcast,
and on November 25, 2022, the film "Hadaka no Yume," directed by vocalist Sora Hokimoto himself, was released nationwide and submitted to the Tokyo International Film Festival. The album includes 10 tracks, including the theme song "Hadaka no Yume" from the film.
