7 years after the previous original album "PYRAMID3", the three members Akira Jimbo (Dr), Hirotaka Izumi (Pf), and Yuji Toriyama (Gt) have reunited!
All 11 songs are complete, including new songs written by each member for PYRAMID, covers of songs that influenced the familiar members, and challenges in re-arranging!
Tarou Hakase (Vn) participates as a guest, continuing from the previous work. In addition, collaborations with the young new generation include talented vocalist Hanah Spring, Toriyama's solo work, singer Mika Arisaka who was also featured on the Super Paw label compilation "Women's Liberation", and mabanua, who is active in multiple roles as a drummer, producer, and singer.
With the participation of UK engineer and Grammy winner Tim Young (The Clash, Elton John, Massive Attack, etc.) for mastering, this is an around-sixty band that continues to evolve, collaborating worldwide.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the formation of O!kay Boys. The three adults have returned to being bandmates from their school days, colliding their individual energies, and creating an album with the "feelings of those days" from the 70s!
And now, having each matured as musicians and become veterans, they release it to the world!
