paionia is a rock band consisting of Takahashi Yusei (Vo/Gt) and Sugano Takehiro (Ba/Cho).
They have released two mini-albums and one full album to date, performed at FUJIROCK FESTIVAL'18 “ROOKIE A GO GO,” and won the grand prix at RINGOOO A GO-GO 2020. Their appearance at the Ringo Music Festival 2020 is also well-remembered. They are a band that has continued to be supported on the front lines, truly a solitary band.
With Kensuke Sato as support drummer, they have crafted a heavy sound, and their dangerously straightforward and raw singing voice and lyrics have captivated many collaborating musicians.
Finally, they are releasing their passionate second full album, as if to make a statement.
This album builds on their refined sound so far, while repeatedly destroying and reconstructing it, exploring new forms of rock sound through various approaches.
Since July of this year, they have been continuously releasing songs month after month, and this album represents a culmination point. It is their second full-length album, finally unleashed.
The tracklist begins with "Hito no Se," an overwhelming and energetic song that can be said to summarize their career so far. It then reaches a new境地 (state or realm), as paionia continues to evolve.
