This is a bracelet prayer bead (bracelet) made from carved and processed natural wood beads.
It uses 8mm beads of old peach wood (Shaku-ni beads).
The core string is made of Opeロン rubber (silicone rubber).
Peach wood is considered a very powerful spiritual wood among items used in feng shui.
Cinnabar (朱砂) is a sulfide mineral used as a red pigment and in mercury (Hg) ore.
It appears as an opaque reddish-brown lump or as transparent deep crimson rhombic crystals.
It was named after the region of辰州 (present-day Hunan Province in China), where it was mined, hence the name cinnabar.
Due to its color, it is also called朱砂 (Shu Sha).
In China, it was believed to be an elixir of immortality.
It is also known by the nickname "Sage's Stone" and is considered a mineral deeply connected with alchemy.
The "Philosopher's Stone" in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" is said to be made of cinnabar, and its English name is thought to derive from a word meaning "red resin" in Sanskrit.
