1909年創業の小牧醸造。?蔵は鹿児島県の北西部、薩摩半島の北部さつま町に位置します。?創業以来、先代からの造りを守り続ける昔ながらの甕仕込みを行なっています。原料に鹿児島県産の黄金千貫を使用し、蔵の北方にそびえる霊峰紫尾山系の伏流水を使用し、白麹で仕込んだ本格芋焼酎。?品質を重視した手造りカメ仕込みにこだわり、常圧蒸留・黒麹でいも独特の旨さを引き出しています。
平成5年より販売を開始した「小牧」は、小牧醸造の代表銘柄です。?大自然の清冽な銘水を使用し、良質のサツマ芋「黄金千貫」と黒麹を原料に、地熱を利用した伝統あるカメ仕込みでじっくりと仕込みました。?クエン酸濃度を高めることにより、香りは穏やかながらも骨格のあるボディと喉越しのキレ、複雑味のある芳醇な香りが漂う王道の焼酎に仕上がっています。
黒麹独特の芳醇な香りが引き立つ深みのあるまろやかな味わい。?さっぱりとした甘みとコクを感じ、後味のキレも良く、飲み飽きしない1本。湯割りでも水割りでもオススメできる、芋の風味が良く生きた焼酎です。
