About this product
This product allows you to add two displays, Gigabit Ethernet, audio input/output, and two USB 3.0 ports (USB 2.0 compatible) and four USB 2.0 ports via USB 3.0. Please note: If you plan to use this docking station with a Windows tablet that only has microUSB, you will need to purchase an OTG cable to convert a full-size USB to microUSB separately.
The HDMI and DVI/VGA graphics ports support resolutions up to 2048x1152 / 1920x1200. When connecting only one monitor via the HDMI port, a resolution of up to 2560x1440@50Hz can be displayed.
Supports Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Drivers are automatically installed via Windows Update. macOS is not supported. Cannot be used with Linux systems.
Important notes when using 2560x1440 resolution: You must use the latest DisplayLink drivers and a high-speed HDMI cable. The refresh rate is up to 50Hz (lower resolutions support 60Hz). The connected monitor must support 2560x1440 resolution via the HDMI port. Please note that monitors supporting 2560x1600 resolution often do not support 2560x1440 resolution. HDCP copy protection is not supported, so protected content such as Blu-rays cannot be played.
This is not a charger. It has no special function for charging iPads, iPhones, or other tablets and smartphones. This USB docking station is recommended for use with standard applications. (Not recommended for gaming.) Includes a 20W power adapter, USB 3.0 cable (Type-A male to Type-B female, USB 2.0 compatible), and a DVI-VGA adapter.
