Thunderbolt 3 および USB-C 対応のシステムで使用できます。2016/2017/2018 MacBook Pro、2016/2017 MacBook Retina、Chromebook、Microsoft Surface Book 2、HP Spectre x360 13 インチ、Dell XPS（9350/9550/9360/9560/9370）、Lenovo X1 Carbon G5などで稼働確認されています。しかし、すべての USB-C ポート付システムと互換性がある訳ではありません。詳細については下記商品説明内の「互換性」欄をご参照ください。
USB3.1 Type-C によるホスト充電と外部モニタ接続用の新技術を活用することができます。「USB-IF PD（Power Delivery）充電規格」に準拠した充電方法で、最高 60W までの電力でホスト・システムを充電します。外部モニタを接続するためには「USB Type-C ポート経由 VESA DisplayPort 代替モード（Alt モード）」機能を利用します。ホスト・システムは、充電と外部モニタ接続のためにこの両者の標準規格に準拠していなければなりません。このドッキングステーションは、Thunderbolt 3 対応システムでも使用できます。
このドッキングステーションを使用するためには、コンピュータシステムは USB-C ポートを搭載している必要があります。既存の USB 3.0 および USB 2.0 システムでは使用できません。また、USB-C ポート付きのシステムのすべてが DP 代替モードと PD に対応しているわけではありませんので、詳細については弊社の製品情報ページをご参照ください。また、このドッキングステーションに接続できるのは HDMI ポートを持つモニタです。 DisplayPort ポート経由でのモニタ接続はできません。
