In this work, the fear of approaching disease and death is depicted in the form of a "swarm of rats." Rats avoid fire and light, so they are driven away using torches, or by extinguishing distant lights and directing them elsewhere. If the light disappears, they will be eaten alive. Amicia has hunting skills taught by her father. There are puzzle actions to break the situation, such as attacking the pursuing Inquisitors with a slingshot or lighting and extinguishing fires.
