PENTAX S2 SUPER BODY + Auto Takumar 55mm F2

This is a 35mm SLR film camera released by Asahi Pentax in 1963. It is the improved model, the S2 SUPER, of the PENTAX S2 released in 1959.

The included lens is a semi-automatic aperture type Auto Takumar 55mm F2. By operating the silver lever on the lens barrel, you can open the aperture to focus, and when you press the shutter button, the aperture will stop down to the set aperture.
It is a compact lens with a filter diameter of 46mm. It has more aperture blades than its successor, the Super Takumar, resulting in an almost circular aperture (deca-gon).

This is a fully mechanical manual camera, so no batteries are required.
The photographer must manually adjust the exposure settings (aperture and shutter speed) and focus.

**Product Condition**
This camera body has undergone overhaul and maintenance by a specialized repair shop for film cameras, including replacement of the shutter curtains.
The exterior of the body has minor scuffs but is in relatively clean condition with no dents or significant damage.
All functions, including film winding/rewinding and shutter operation, are normal.
The exterior of the lens barrel has minor scuffs but is in good condition with no deformation of the filter ring.
There is no fogging or fungus inside the lens, but there is some dust, which does not affect image quality.
Focus operation is smooth, and aperture operation is also without issues.

This product is used, not new.
The condition varies depending on the usage and storage methods of previous users over a long period. Exposure accuracy and shutter accuracy are within a practical range, considering the aging of a camera that is many years old.
