Setakara Leather was developed for customization and repair of leather and synthetic leather products. It is a high-quality paint with a wide range of colors, resistant to scratches and friction, and has excellent coverage to hide the base layer. The paint applies evenly and, with a maximum of three thin coats, can effectively conceal the underlying surface. It is mixable.
The matte (opaque) colors develop their full hue after several layers even on dark backgrounds.
Coverage area: approximately 0.5 square meters per 45ml bottle.
**Durability:**
The durability of Setakara Leather has been confirmed according to ISO11998 standards, through tests involving 100,000 folds of painted leather and friction tests in wet conditions.
**Environmental Note:**
All plastic bottles are made from PET with 25% recycled materials to reduce environmental impact.
**Recommended Usage:**
**Step 1: Preparation**
Leather is a special material, and it is essential to use a degreaser (preparation deglosser) medium for proper preparation.
Apply the degreaser to a paper towel or cloth, then wipe the surface of the leather to remove any pre-existing oils or fats.
This significantly enhances the adhesion between the paint and the leather.
*(Note)*: Since the degreaser medium is highly flammable, please follow safety instructions and use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
**Step 2: Painting**
When applying multiple coats, ensure each layer is thoroughly dry before applying the next to prevent colors from mixing.
(Dries naturally in about 15 minutes; using a hairdryer can shorten drying time.)
**Step 3: Sealing**
Applying a coat of varnish can prevent scratches, scuffs, and general wear on painted areas of leather or synthetic leather.
Use a brush that applies a thin, even coat for best results.
