The Paul McCartney HD Digital Archive Collection – Blu-ray Edition is a highly collectible item that features superb high-resolution audio sources and video albums, utilizing the capabilities of Blu-ray to deliver high-quality sound and image. The video footage is a Blu-ray version of the previously included videos on the DVD from the DAP “Alternate Archive Series,” which has been HD-upconverted to HD quality. Additionally, some video materials have been edited and upgraded to higher quality during the HD conversion process, resulting in a Blu-ray version that surpasses DVD in visual quality.
A key highlight of this release is the newly added, first-time appearance of audio sources, which are highly valued on the secondary market, such as the DCC 24K Gold CD, and the first officially multi-channel surround sound DTS Surround CD. These include rare and discontinued audio files presented in high-quality high-resolution audio formats.
The Blu-ray Audio playback screen displays track titles along with jacket images and label photos for each item. This collection is a treasure for collectors, compiling rare and valuable items into an exquisite high-resolution audiophile digital archive.
