To play a single UltraHD Blu-ray, some discs may require the device to be connected to the internet for copyright protection.
To view in 4K/HDR, connect to devices (displays) and terminals that support HDCP2.2, 4K/60P/4:4:4, and UltraHD Blu-ray HDR signals.
If connected to devices or terminals that do not support HDCP2.2, HDR signals will be converted to dynamic range for output at high definition resolution. Some discs may not play correctly.
If connected to devices or terminals supporting up to 4K/60P/4:2:0 (8bit), 60P material will be output with HDR signal converted to dynamic range.
If connected to devices or terminals that do not support 4K/60P, output will be in high definition resolution.
If connected to devices or terminals that do not support HDR, HDR signals will be converted to dynamic range for output. Some discs may output in high definition resolution or may not play correctly.

Supports "Ultra HD Blu-ray playback" capable of enjoying 4K and HDR videos

Ultra HD Blu-ray is a next-generation Blu-ray disc standard supporting 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution, high frame rate of 60p, and high brightness up to 10,000 nits for rich textures, supporting HDR (High Dynamic Range), wide color gamut "BT.2020" for enhanced color reproduction, enabling high-definition detail, sense of depth from large contrast differences, vivid colors, and smooth motion for beautiful images.

Supports the latest HDR standards "HDR10" and "Dolby Vision"

While conventional HDR (HDR10) used scene-specific metadata to indicate brightness, "HDR10+" and "Dolby Vision" use scene-by-scene metadata within the video to optimally display brightness, faithfully reproducing HDR images according to the creator's intent. Additionally, since "HDR10+" and "Dolby Vision" are backward compatible with HDR10, connecting to HDR10-compatible TVs allows high-quality enjoyment similar to HDR10.

To output video in HDR10+ Dolby Vision format, the player, video content, and display must all support HDR10+ Dolby Vision.
