Sensing charging function with safety design
Pre-charge function 1

Diagnoses the battery condition and notifies with two flashes of the LED if damaged by over-discharge. Performs a weak current pre-charge to improve battery condition and facilitate charging. 1

Remaining capacity check function 2

Informs the remaining capacity and charging progress of batteries via LED color. The LED changes color among red, yellow, and green, allowing easy visual confirmation of each battery's charge status. 2

The LED color change indicating charging progress and remaining capacity is a guideline; depending on battery condition and charging environment, the timing of color change may vary. Images are for illustration purposes.


Replacement guideline diagnosis function 3

Notifies the approximate timing for replacing batteries via LED flashing. When charging is complete, if the LED flashes yellow, it indicates a replacement guideline. When the battery's lifespan is over, the LED flashes red.

Depending on usage environment and ambient temperature, accurate diagnosis may not be possible. Images are for illustration purposes.


Prevents charging of non-rechargeable batteries such as dry batteries 4

Detects if non-rechargeable batteries are loaded and stops charging.

Automatically detects if dry batteries are inserted by mistake, and also detects abnormal batteries.


For charging smartphones in emergencies

Uses rechargeable batteries to output power to smartphones.

Approximately half a charge for smartphones*

Can charge smartphones with AA dry batteries. Mixing dry batteries and rechargeable batteries is allowed.

When used as a mobile battery, output is only possible when 4 AA batteries are loaded. Inserting batteries of different types or capacities is a feature unique to BQ-CC87; do not mix with other devices. A USB cable suitable for your device is separately required. Depending on the remaining battery capacity, USB output time may be short or unable to output.

Securing light in emergencies
