A lantern made with traditional methods but with a modern design. It features a striking shade, yet can be displayed compactly.
The design, made with a double layer of silk and Japanese paper, gives a gentle impression when lit.
This is a new type of lantern with a cute rabbit and moonlit night hand-painted on it.
A small rotating lantern with an impressive diamond-shaped shade. It's a perfectly compact size that easily fits in both Japanese-style rooms and living rooms.
When the rotating cylinder is attached inside, the cylinder begins to spin, creating a unique atmosphere reminiscent of Obon.
Since it is an Obon lantern with a rotating cylinder, it can be used in two patterns: with and without the rotating cylinder.
You can use it according to your preference, depending on the balance with other lanterns you are displaying.
*The rotating cylinder works by spinning like a windmill due to the "heat" of the light bulb. Therefore, it may take some time to start rotating after the light bulb is turned on.
The shade is beautifully painted with a rabbit playfully leaping on a moonlit night, creating a gentle lantern.
This lantern is designed to further brighten your Obon decorations, allowing you to warmly welcome your cherished departed loved ones.

- Be careful of the shade getting wet and of ignition from incense or candles.
- Please turn off the light when you are resting.
- When storing, first remove dust with a duster, soft brush, or cloth. Do not use chemical cloths, water, detergents, volatile solvents, or insecticides.
- As many natural materials are used, please be careful of insect damage.
- When using moth repellents, please use ones specifically for lanterns. Be careful not to use too much, as it can cause damage.
[Points for Using the Rotating Cylinder]
- Attach the needle (holder) vertically to the light bulb.
- Check that the needle is properly attached to the rotating cylinder and place it horizontally.
- Ensure the rotating cylinder is not touching the light bulb or the upper leg.
- Wipe the upper leg and rotating cylinder with a damp cloth to reduce static electricity.
- Check that there is no dust or debris attached to the tip of the core rod or the glass part that receives the needle of the rotating cylinder.
- The rotating cylinder works by "rising air currents generated by the heat of the light bulb." Therefore, even for products sold in sets of two, there may be individual differences in rotation speed depending on how the air current is received. Please understand this in advance.
