This is a casting rod designed for use with 7ft. approximately, in the regular or slow taper MH class, for use with巻物 (spinning or casting lures). It aims to achieve an unprecedented level of light, nimble casting, allowing continuous retrieval and capturing many bites.
Generally, the challenges with large deep-diving crankbaits are long-distance casting performance and the resistance during winding. Additionally, the silhouette and action are designed to closely resemble baitfish, emphasizing realism.
The rod easily surpasses water depths of 8 meters during casting, expanding the target range to 9 to 10 meters, where competition is less intense and the environment remains relatively unexplored.
What is needed then is **casting distance**. Even if the lure can dive deeply, without sufficient distance, its potential cannot be fully utilized. To address this, the body shape considers air resistance, and an ultra-large 8.5g moving weight is moved close to the tail tip to stabilize the flight posture.
Furthermore, by using a honeycomb body that is 40% thinner than our previous models, we maintain strength while reducing weight. The rod features a lateral "low ride" eye that allows the two weights to be positioned closer together, and additionally, a front weight is placed above the eye, creating a sensation of a single, close-placed weight.
This design ensures excellent swimming initiation, responsiveness, light winding resistance, and a lively swimming action that closely mimics real baitfish.
