The i-Waver is an "I-shaped" minnow for bass released in 2012. It maintains a sideways posture to mimic a dying small fish, and its symmetrical body, both vertically and horizontally, stabilizes its swimming posture and enhances its "I-shaped" performance. The joint is not for wagging the tail, but to absorb wobbles during retrieval, achieving a natural swimming action that cannot be replicated with a single-piece lure, making it blend into the water. This results in more follows and fewer fish turning away. Furthermore, the tail hair, which flickers like the tail fin of a live fish even with ultra-slow retrieves or when stopped, delivers unique results in specific situations where regular minnows fail to entice bites.
Pro-tuned SW-F
The SW-F has been tuned to be truly effective when baitfish like sandworms or sardines are present just below the surface. Both the SSS and F models for bass have a high-specific-gravity front body design to prevent them from being swept away by crosswinds during idle action or ultra-slow retrieves. However, continuing to retrieve with the rod tip down can cause the lure to dive deeper than intended. Therefore, the SW-F has a front body with no weight and a dedicated weight installed at the rear. This rearward weight distribution improves flight posture and casting distance. Because the front body is less likely to point downwards, it maintains a position from the surface to just below the surface, even with a thicker leader, and generates a wake. You can operate the lure while visually confirming its position, like a topwater lure, and witness thrilling surface-breaking bites. Additionally, tinsel is mixed into the tail hair, enhancing its flickering appeal and its braking power to grip the water. The lure also uses ST41 #10 hooks to handle unexpected large fish. The i-Waver SW-F is a salt-specific "I-shaped" minnow, meticulously pro-tuned with rockfish and seabass as its main targets.
