『知らなくていいコト』日本テレビ系にて、1月期スタート 毎週水曜22:00~放送

政治家の不正から芸能人のスキャンダルまで、数々のスクープを世間に送り出す週刊誌“週刊イースト"。壮絶な職場で日々スクープを狙う女記者・真壁ケイトは自信家ながらも母譲りの人ウケのよさと人懐っこさで仕事も恋も絶好調の毎日を送っていた。そんなある日……。シングルマザーとしてケイトを育て上げた母が急死。母が最期の言葉で告げたのは今まで一度も話したことのなかったケイトの父の名前だった……。それは、誰もがしるあのハリウッドスターの名前!!……パパがハリウッドスター!?んなワケないじゃん?でも、それっぽい証拠も出てきて…!?出生の謎と父の秘密に迫る時、人生最大の『知らなくていいコト』にぶち当たる! 「お父さんが本当は○○だったなんて…」母の残した謎の言葉によって、大きく狂わされる彼女の人生…。

◇アーティストプロフィール
平野義久(Yoshihisa Hirano)
1971年12月7日和歌山県新宮市生まれ。5歳よりヴァイオリンを始める。バロック音楽に魅了され、小学生の頃から独学で作曲を始める。高校時代にジャズと邂逅、マイルス・デイヴィス、セロニアス・モンク、エリック・ドルフィ、ジョン・コルトレーンらの音楽に没頭する。アルト・サクソフォンを手にしジャズ・プレイヤーを志すが、ジョン・ゾーンへの心酔を契機に現代音楽に心惹かれるようになる。一方で、ショスタコーヴィチの交響曲に強い感銘を受け、本格的な作曲の修行を決意する。高校卒業後紆余曲折を経て渡米、イーストマン音楽院で作曲をクリストファー・ラウス、ジョセフ・シュワントナー両氏に師事する。バタイユ、クロソウスキー、マンディアルグ、ジュネら20世紀フランスの作家・思想家に傾倒し、授業もそっちのけで多くの時間を読書、そして作曲に費やす。紆余曲折を経て同院中退、その後帰国。さらなる紆余曲折を経て2001年に劇伴作曲家としてデビュー。以来今日に至るまで数多くのサウンドトラックを世に送り出している。文学・哲学から落語・モードファッションまでこよなく愛する好奇心旺盛な作曲家。(日本国内の)動物・昆虫などはかなりの確率で正確な和名を言い当てることが出来る。ただし幼少時のトラウマ体験により芋虫恐怖症。
