An Italian pasta manufacturer based in the Abruzzo region, operated by a family for five generations.
Surrounded by mountains, Abruzzo boasts clear air and cold spring water, making it an ideal region for pasta making.
Since before 1901, when DeLuca began operating as a pasta manufacturer, the company has utilized techniques and manual pressing machines from flour milling companies to produce pasta.
Even after switching to electric machinery, they continue to produce pasta using traditional methods passed down through five generations.

Our company began engaging in organic initiatives before the term "organic" became widespread in Japan.
In 1988, we started importing organic soybeans certified by OCIA (Organic Crop Improvement Association) in the United States. In 1989, 11 products including soy sauce, miso, brown rice vinegar, tea, and pickled plums, made based on traditional Japanese methods handled by Musou Shoji, received the first-ever organic certification from OCIA in Japan, boosting exports abroad.
In addition, in 1990, we launched the sale of OCIA-certified organic coffee, the first in Japan.
In 2000, with the enforcement of the Japanese Organic JAS standards, many companies became involved in organic business. However, we have continued our organic activities with the same fundamental approach since the beginning.
