It eliminates gears that cause operational noise and uses a mechanism with a metal shaft and screw drive finished to sub-micron precision to directly drive the focus lens.
This lens adopts an internal focus system using the MSC mechanism.
By optimally controlling the movement of three small, lightweight lenses, it performs focusing.
This smooth autofocus operation allows for comfortable shooting not only still images but also videos without stress.

Sliding the focus ring forward reveals the distance scale engraved on the lens barrel, and the focus position moves to that distance.
