ビッグクラウンポインターデイトキャリバー403を発表します。新たなアイコンの歴史の始まりです。
1938年に世に出て以来、ビッグクラウンポインターデイトは80年以上の間定番のひとつでした。オリジナルには２つの特徴がありました。飛行中のパイロットがグローブを着けたまま操作できるよう大きめのリューズ（英語でBig Crown）を装備していたこと、そしてセンター針がダイアル外周のデイト表示を指すことです。そのフォームはオリスのシグネチャーデザインになり、美しさと機能を両立するスイスの時計作りのアイコンとしても知られるようになりました。
そして今、ビッグクラウンポインターデイトの輝かしい歴史において、最も目覚ましい改良が加えられます。新作の38ミリモデルには、オリス自社開発の高性能自動巻キャリバー400シリーズの、キャリバー403が搭載されています。キャリバー403は250本限定のヘルシュタインエディション2021に初めて使われましたが、定番コレクションでは今回が初めてです。スモールセコンドとポインターデイト機能が付加されています。
キャリバー400シリーズの他のムーブメントと同様に、キャリバー403は高い耐磁性を持ち、5日間パワーリザーブと10年保証を備えています（MyOrisに加入すると、保証期間が10年に延長されます）。また、クロノメーター検定基準を超す日差-3/+5秒の精度を誇り、オーバーホール推奨期間10年間の品質を備えています。
