Kikugawa is located in the western part of Shizuoka Prefecture and is one of the leading tea-producing areas in Shizuoka, blessed with a warm climate. This is a deep-steamed tea made using only tea leaves produced in Kikugawa City. Deep-steamed tea is steamed for more than twice the time of regular sencha. Kikugawa tea leaves are thick and suitable for deep steaming, resulting in a mellow taste with less bitterness due to the deep steaming process. It is characterized by its elegant flavor and deep green liquor.
How to Use
Pour boiling water into a teapot containing tea leaves, steep for 2-3 minutes, and then drink.
