Completed with their strongest lineup, co-produced with Nicholas Bassett of Whirr, and produced by Sonny Diperri, this album spans from roaring shoegaze with an industrial texture to delicate and melancholic songs featuring strings. The destructive roar of "Cannibal World" and "Toothless Coal" and the serene beauty represented by "Purple Strings" and "The Rain Don't Care" form the two poles of the album.
