Okinawa-produced brown sugar has a naturally strong flavor and a distinctive "bitterness," and the wheat flour from Hokkaido also has the drawback of being "difficult to rise." Initially, we struggled to combine these two ingredients effectively...
After repeated trial and error, research, and refinement, we finally completed this Hokkaido karintou.
