Hasami Ware refers to ceramics fired in Hasami Town, Higashisonogi District, Nagasaki Prefecture. Due to its shipping location, it was called Imari Ware during the Edo period and Arita Ware during the Meiji period. Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, is adjacent to Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and Hasami Ware, like Arita Ware, has a tradition of over 400 years.
