With a focal length of 85mm and an open F-value of 1.8, this large-aperture mid-telephoto prime lens allows for easy portrait shooting. Sharp rendering from wide open aperture, large bokeh effect due to F/1.8 brightness and circular aperture, making the subject stand out. The bright open F-value is advantageous for shooting in low-light scenes with handheld. It allows shooting at a moderate distance from the subject, enabling natural expressions.
When mounted on a DX-format digital SLR camera, it corresponds to a 127.5mm focal length in 35mm equivalent.
