Fastest AF x Most Focus Points
Unnoticeable speed. To capture the excitement as seen, it features two world-class (※1). One is the fastest AF (※2). The phase-difference AF built into the new image sensor quickly focuses on fast-moving subjects. The other is the highest number of focus points (※3). The 73-point phase-difference AF points, efficiently arranged on the imaging surface, capture and track moving subjects. Furthermore, with the adoption of the Advanced Hybrid AF system, it automatically switches to contrast AF in dark places, greatly expanding the scenes where AF can be used.
