Product introduction
The "D3300" is an entry-level model featuring an effective pixel count of 24.16 million pixels, a Nikon DX format CMOS sensor without an optical low-pass filter, and a new image processing engine "EXPEED 4" that enables high-speed processing and high image quality in high sensitivity ranges. It is equipped with high basic performance such as a continuous shooting speed of approximately 5 frames per second, an optical viewfinder with approximately 0.85x magnification, and 60p Full HD video recording, allowing comfortable shooting of moving subjects and decisive moments.
The improved "Guide Mode" allows you to take pictures as you imagine just by following the guides displayed on the LCD monitor, and also provides quick access to functions you want to change settings for.
It also enhances operability by newly incorporating the "i" button, enabling simple operation that reflects the shooter's intentions.
Furthermore, the "D3300" is equipped with "Special Effect Mode," which allows you to select and set effects on the camera body while confirming in real-time on the LCD monitor during shooting, regardless of still images or videos, and "Image Editing Function," which allows post-shoot image processing, enabling creative work.
The "D3300" adopts a new material using carbon fiber for the body, and the cover structure is a monocoque structure with an integrated box shape. This achieves both high strength and excellent portability through compactness and lightweight design. Additionally, Nikon, through its proprietary technology, realized a monocoque structure for the camera body using a new carbon fiber material in the "D5300" (released November 2013), making it the first digital single-lens reflex camera to do so.
Please read the disclaimer and caution.
