Product introduction
The "D3300" is an entry-level model equipped with a Nikon DX format CMOS sensor with 24.16 million effective pixels, a high-speed processing and high-sensitivity high image quality achieved by the new image processing engine "EXPEED 4" without an optical low-pass filter. It features high basic performance such as a continuous shooting speed of approximately 5 frames per second, an optical viewfinder with 0.85x magnification, and 60p Full HD video recording, allowing comfortable shooting of moving subjects and decisive moments.
By simply following the guide displayed on the LCD monitor, you can take pictures as you imagine with the improved "Guide Mode". Additionally, you can quickly access functions you want to change settings for.
It also enhances operability by newly incorporating the "i" button, enabling easy operation that reflects the shooter's intentions.
Furthermore, the "D3300" is equipped with "Special Effect Mode" that allows you to select and set effects on the camera body in real-time while confirming on the LCD monitor during shooting, regardless of still images or videos, and "Image Editing Function" that allows post-shoot image processing, enabling creative work.
The "D3300" adopts a new material using carbon fiber for the body, and the cover structure is a monocoque structure with an integrated box shape. This achieves both high strength and excellent portability through compact size and lightweight design. Additionally, Nikon, through its proprietary technology, realized a monocoque structure using a new carbon fiber material in the "D5300" digital single-lens reflex camera (released November 2013), making it the first camera body to do so.
