Circular Polarizing Filter II 77mm

Developed for AF cameras, enabling accurate focusing and metering. This is a circular polarizing filter that is effective for color and black and white photography and can also be used with MF cameras.

Product image is 82mm.

Compared to conventional circular polarizing filters (52mm diameter = 10.8mm, 62mm diameter = 12.5mm, 72/77mm diameter = 15.5mm), the thickness is now thinner and lighter at 7.4mm for all diameters.

Compared to conventional circular polarizing filters, more lenses can be used without vignetting. Also, the double-sided multi-coating suppresses surface reflections and reduces ghosting.

By making the front thread diameter of the filter the same as the lens side, the lens cap can now be attached as is.

The filter case is now semi-transparent, making it easier to see the contents.

For most part, the dedicated hood for Circular Polarizing Filter II is not required, and the lens's own hood can be used.
