■ Features● New Contac Cold Comprehensive DX contains seven active ingredients effective against severe cold symptoms. 1. Do not take if you are:(1) Have experienced allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients.(2) Have experienced asthma or allergic reactions after taking this medication or other cold or pain relief medicines.(3) Under 15 years old.(4) Pregnant within 12 weeks of expected delivery.
2. Do not use any other medications during this period, including:- Other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, cough suppressants, expectorants, antihistamines (such as nasal allergy medications, motion sickness drugs, allergy medications), gastrointestinal antispasmodics.
3. Do not operate vehicles or machinery after taking this medication.(Warning: Drowsiness, blurred vision, abnormal sensitivity to light, etc., may occur.)
4. Do not consume alcohol before or after taking this medication.
5. Do not use for more than 5 days.
■ Consult a Healthcare Professional If1. If any of the following symptoms appear after taking the medication, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional with this document, as side effects may be present:- Skin: Rash, redness, itching, bruising- Digestive system: Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, gastritis, heartburn, indigestion, gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloody stool- Nervous system: Dizziness, headache- Circulatory system: Palpitations- Respiratory system: Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing- Urinary system: Difficulty urinating- Others: Blurred vision, tinnitus, swelling, nosebleeds, gum bleeding, bleeding that is hard to stop, bleeding, back pain, excessive hypothermia, fatigue, facial flushing, abnormal sensitivity to light
Rarely, severe symptoms may occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Possible severe symptoms include:- Shock (Anaphylaxis): Immediate symptoms such as itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, altered consciousness.- Stevens-Johnson Syndrome / Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis: High fever, eye redness, discharge, lip sores, sore throat, widespread rash and redness that persist or worsen rapidly.- Liver dysfunction: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes), dark urine, fatigue, loss of appetite.- Kidney impairment: Fever, rash, decreased urine output, swelling, fatigue, joint pain, diarrhea.- Aseptic meningitis: Severe headache with neck stiffness, fever, nausea, vomiting. (Commonly reported in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease.)- Myocardial infarction: Crushing chest pain, difficulty breathing, cold sweat.- Cerebrovascular disorder: Sudden loss of consciousness, weakness on one side, headache, vomiting, dizziness, speech difficulty, aphasia.- Interstitial pneumonia: Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing when climbing stairs or exerting, cough, fever, sudden or persistent symptoms.- Asthma: Wheezing, whistling, difficulty breathing.- Aplastic anemia: Bruising, nosebleeds, gum bleeding, fever, pallor, fatigue, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, hematuria.- Agranulocytosis: Sudden high fever, chills, sore throat.
3. If any of the following symptoms occur, stop taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional:- Constipation, dry mouth, drowsiness.
4. If symptoms do not improve after 3-4 doses (especially if fever persists for more than 3 days or recurs), discontinue and consult a healthcare professional.
■ Indications and EffectsRelief of cold symptoms such as sore throat, fever, runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, cough, phlegm, chills (fever-related shivering), headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.
■ Usage and DosageTake the following amount with water or warm water within 30 minutes after breakfast and dinner.
- Adults (15 years and older): 2 capsules, twice daily (morning and evening)- Children under 15 years: Do not use.
(1) Strictly follow the usage and dosage instructions.(2) How to take capsules: As shown in the diagram, press firmly on the protruding part of the PTP sheet containing the capsules with your fingertips to break the aluminum foil on the back, then take out and swallow.(Accidentally swallowing the capsule whole or improper handling may cause injury to the esophageal mucosa or other accidents.)
■ Ingredients and Amounts (per 4 capsules, daily dose)- Ibuprofen (antipyretic analgesic): 400 mg — reduces fever, sore throat, headache, joint and muscle pain.- Anhydrous caffeine: 75 mg — alleviates fatigue and malaise caused by colds.- Iodide Isoproparamide (anti-secretion agent): 5 mg — suppresses excessive nasal discharge.- D-Chlorpheniramine Maleate (antihistamine): 3.5 mg — relieves runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing.- Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (cough suppressant): 48 mg — acts directly on the cough center to suppress cough.- D-L-Methyl Epherine Hydrochloride (bronchodilator): 60 mg — suppresses cough and eases breathing.- Hesperidin (Vitamin P): 45 mg — a type of vitamin found in citrus fruits.
Additives: D-mannitol, cellulose, lactose, carmellose calcium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, Yellow No. 5, ethyl acrylate-methyl methacrylate copolymer, talc, hypromellose, polyvinyl alcohol-acrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer, silica, sodium lauryl sulfate, gelatin.
