新品CDです。72年結成のフォークロックバンド、ひるあんどん が74年に自主制作したLPの再発CDです。ＣＳＮ＆Ｙからの影響をうかがわせる美しいコーラスワークを主としたフォークロックですが、アコギやピアノの伴奏を基盤にしながらも、ハードロックを思わせるアレンジ、そして独特な世界観の詩によって、唯一無二なフォークロックサウンドを聴かせます。 主義主張を持たないような、あるいは虚無主義とも言える歌詞が続いていきますが、それとは裏腹に熱意のこもった演奏や、叙情性を帯びた歌声によって各楽曲は彩られており、 歌詞は能動的虚無主義ともとれる意味合いを持ちはじめます。 当時は一枚一枚手刷りのシルクスクリーンであったという鮮やかでポップなジャケットアートワークも素晴らしい、 珠玉の名盤です！オリジナル盤には未掲載であった多くのライブ写真を含む歌詞カード、中心メンバーである家田和則氏自身による解説文掲載の見開き紙ジャケ。オリジナル盤のもののデザインを再現した帯付き。
