[Story]
Oda Nobunaga, who aims to unify the country, is engaged in fierce battles with the Mori, Takeda, and Uesugi armies, as well as the temple and shrine forces of Kyoto. Amidst this, Nobunaga's vassal, Murashige Araki, rebels and disappears.
Nobunaga gathers his vassals, including Hashiba Hideyoshi and Akechi Mitsuhide, and orders them to search for Murashige, using his succession as bait.
Murashige, captured through the schemes of Hideyoshi's brother Hidenaga and strategist Kuroda Kanbei, is handed over to Mitsuhide. However, for some reason, Mitsuhide hides Murashige instead of killing him.
Frustrated by Murashige's whereabouts, Nobunaga begins to cast suspicion in an unexpected direction.
But it was all a meticulously planned trap.
Who is the mastermind? What will become of the power struggle? A turbulent development that overturns history from its foundations begins to move towards the "Honnoji Incident"—
