Tipalos Fish Sauce 700ml is a seasoning made from the aged supernatant of salted and fermented anchovies.
Nam pla (fish sauce), made from fermented anchovies, is an essential ingredient in Asian cuisine such as Thai and Chinese dishes.
It is known for its salty and umami flavor from amino acids, and its unique aroma. By using a small amount in place of soy sauce in stir-fries, soups, and other dishes, you can transform them into ethnic cuisine.
As it is called "fish tare soy sauce" in Japan, small fish are salted and aged to create a deep umami and richness, which is the secret to its deliciousness.
It is used as a dipping sauce and as a hidden ingredient as a base for all kinds of ethnic dishes.
It is particularly good as a hidden ingredient in Vietnamese pho and rice noodle soups, as well as in fried rice noodles.
