What is "TORE"?
"TORE" is a quiz variety show regularly broadcast as a special program on the Nippon TV network. It's an adventure variety show that offers the thrill of an adventure movie, where players challenge various quizzes on stages filled with traps in an attempt to obtain the legendary hidden treasure, the "Golden Pharaoh Statue," concealed within the ancient ruins of "TORE's Magic Palace."

The "Magic Palace" of the once-prosperous "Pharaoh Kingdom" has now fallen into ruin, and its former citizens exist there as "hitodama" (soul orbs). The player, as an adventurer, visits the "Magic Palace" in search of the legendary hidden treasure, the "Golden Pharaoh Statue." There, the player is asked by "Pharaoh," who now exists only as a soul, to revive the "Magic Palace." To revive the "Magic Palace," it is necessary to deliver the Pharaoh Statue to the priests who have become "hitodama." Therefore, the player must clear the stages called "Ma" (Interim) to collect the "Pharaoh Statues."
