Described as "a piano trio that can laugh and dance," H ZETTRIO (Eichi ZETTRIO) released their debut album "Mitsuboshi" four years ago. They have consistently released original albums at a rate of one per year, and after about a year and a half since their third album "PIANO CRAZE," they have completed their fourth original album "Mysterious Superheroes" (Mysterious Superheroes). This album consists of 12 tracks, including songs released as six consecutive singles during last year's nationwide tour and unreleased songs. Like the previous album, it is available in two editions: "EXCITING FLIGHT version" and "DYNAMIC FLIGHT version," each with one different bonus track, totaling 13 tracks. (The "EXCITING FLIGHT version" includes an unreleased song "Playin' Swingin' !!! H ZETTRIO!!!" (studio recording), and the "DYNAMIC FLIGHT version" includes a live recording of "What's Next," performed at the Hokkaido/Nakashibetsu performance on December 24, 2017.) H ZETTRIO is a simple ensemble consisting of piano, bass, and drums, yet their high skill level and outstanding sense continue to make their instrumental music loved across generations. In this sense, the "piano jazz" played by the three members can be said to be distinct from other jazz. Their live performances are expanding nationwide, captivating audiences of all ages with comments like "Once you see it, you'll be hooked," "It energizes you," and "It makes your heart happy," continually gaining repeat fans. In 2014, their music was used in a TV commercial for a major company's product (still airing), and in 2016, their music was featured in a video where Prime Minister Abe, dressed as Super Mario, emerges from a pipe at the Rio Olympics closing ceremony, gradually increasing media attention. Last year, their song "What's Next" was used in a commercial for NEC's laptop "LAVIE Note NEXT," where both the song and the band members appeared. Their performances, characterized by high technical skill, outlandish performances, and breathtakingly beautiful and heartfelt quality, resonated with viewers through high-spec new products, creating a high-quality video that became a topic of conversation. ("What's Next" is included in this album for the first time.) Their momentum shows no signs of slowing down, and early this year, their song was also used in a web movie campaign introducing the PlayStation®4 Lineup Music Video, which features PS4® game titles. Their unprecedented activity as a piano trio continues. In 2018, starting with the New Year’s Hall Tour in Kanto and Kansai from January 20, they will hold the popular Children's Day special live "Mysterious Superheroes TOUR ~Children’s Day Special~" on May 5, and from June, a nationwide tour supporting this album is planned. What will happen next? H ZETTRIO, whose activities are increasingly captivating, will further accelerate their success with this album.
About the artist
They released their first album "★★★" (Mitsuboshi) in January 2013. In 2014, they performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, one of the world's three major jazz festivals held in Switzerland, which led to appearances at many large festivals both domestically and internationally. With their unique and "zero-gravity technique" described as highly technical piano, supported by the sharp rhythm section of H ZETT NIRE (bass/red nose) and H ZETT KOU (drums/silver nose), they produce a distinctive ensemble. They continue to pursue music and groove that cannot be created by anyone else. All 25 singles released via digital distribution have topped the iTunes jazz rankings. Their second album "Beautiful Flight" was released in November 2015, and their third album "PIANO CRAZE" in September 2016. From April 2017, they completed a nationwide tour of 37 performances and simultaneously released new songs for six consecutive months. On November 8, they released their first Christmas album "H ZETTRIO's Christmas Songs." In March 2018, the highly anticipated fourth album "Mysterious Superheroes" is scheduled for release.
