Mari Adachi, an outstanding violist, is active as a soloist and chamber musician. She is expected to have an increasingly brilliant career, having served as guest principal violist with the Estonian Festival Orchestra led by Paavo Järvi and the Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. This work is an ambitious piece that fully utilizes her musicality, technique, and tone as a solo violist. Fumiaki Yasuda, a composer and pianist active in Europe, has a contract with Winter & Winter in Germany, and his stance and compositions, which do not settle for easy avant-garde, are highly acclaimed worldwide. 14 exquisite tracks, including the title track "My Dear" which evokes enchanting romance, "Song of Nenna" which brings to mind a distant, quiet sea, and "Things that are missing here" which oozes a sense of tension and impermanence. About the Artist

Mari Adachi (Viola)
Currently based in Tokyo, she is active as a soloist and chamber musician, and also appears as a guest principal player with numerous domestic orchestras. She pursued classical music studies in Tokyo, Vienna, and Lausanne, and served as assistant principal violist with the Innsbruck Symphony Orchestra for two years from 2013. In recent years, she has actively expanded her range of activities beyond classical music to include contemporary music and pop music, regardless of genre. In 2019, she performed a piano trio with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Mari Fujiwara. The performance was broadcast on NHK-BS Premium and became a topic of conversation. Since 2016, she has participated in the Estonian Festival Orchestra led by Paavo Järvi, and during the 2019 Japan tour, she performed Mozart's duet with Midori Goto at all pre-concerts held in various locations. In 2018, she released her first solo album, "Winterreise." In 2019, she appeared in "B→C" sponsored by the Tokyo Opera City Cultural Foundation, to great acclaim. Since then, she has continued to hold viola recitals energetically, conveying the charm of the viola with unique programs.
