大正10年創業の紐屋の四代目夫婦が無垢の絹が持つ音を知っていただきたく製作しました。
絹糸は質がピンからキリまでありその中でも厳選された絹を使った「太白」と呼ばれる正絹は、寺社仏閣や神事、祭事で使用される一般的には出回らない最高品質糸です。 Mukuリガチャーはその「太白」を贅沢に使用し、製造元ならではの商品展開をしております。
絹にはセリシンを取り除いただけの無垢の絹（正絹）と、セリシンを取り除きグラフト加工をした絹が存在します。グラフト加工とは増量加工とも呼ばれ、細い絹糸に太さや重さを足す為の加工（紫外線には強い）で無垢の絹に比べて安価な糸です。手触りや風合いはもちろんリガチャーの場合表面加工の違いは音に大きな違いをもたらし、無垢の絹（正絹）こそ本来の絹の音と考えております。
