"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," a manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, has surpassed a cumulative circulation of 150 million copies for volumes 1 through 23 of Shueisha's Jump Comics. The theme song for the highly popular anime adaptation's "Hashira Training Arc," titled "Mugen," is a new song by the collaboration "MY FIRST STORY×HYDE." It will be released on CD on June 5th by Sony Music Labels/BEAT SEEKER MUSIC.
The anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demon sister Nezuko back into a human. The song "Mugen," written as the theme song for the "Hashira Training Arc," is a new style of loud rock that synchronizes with the story of the arc. This is a dream collaboration realized by MY FIRST STORY, a reclusive rock band constantly evolving in 2024, and HYDE, the vocalist of L'Arc-en-Ciel/VAMPS/THE LAST ROCKSTARS and a solo artist. It will be released in two formats: a regular edition and a limited-time production edition featuring newly drawn illustrations from the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." "Mugen," the latest song for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" by the dream collaboration MY FIRST STORY×HYDE, is a must-listen, opening a new era and world.
