Review
Mr. Children, who debuted in May '92 with the mini-album "EVERYTHING" and will celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2001. This work is the first half of their best album, including nine of their hit singles. It contains a total of 15 songs, from their first single, a light pop number (<1>), to a song that sings about realistic views on love, stating that love is a clash of egos (<15>). Listening to the refreshing melody of <8>, which recorded their first Oricon #1, and Kazutoshi Sakurai's clear vocals, brings back the sweet and sour excitement felt when first encountering Mr. Children. The latter half, which collects songs from '96 onwards, was released simultaneously. (Nobuko Matsuo)
