【STORY】
The promise with Aoshima is not over yet.
What is the last hope seen by a man who believes in justice and continues to pursue his ideals?
Shinji Muroi has quit the police and returned to his hometown, Akita. With the desire to support the families of victims and perpetrators of crimes, he lives peacefully with young people. However, one day, a corpse believed to be murdered is found near his house.
Meanwhile, a girl named An, claiming to be the daughter of Manami Hyuga, a notorious serial killer who once occupied the Wangan Police Station, appears. The peaceful life Muroi sought begins to change gradually.
The discovered corpse was one of the members of the criminal group responsible for the Rainbow Bridge incident, which Muroi led the investigation on.
At the request of Shinjo, who was once a colleague and is now the chief of the Akita Prefectural Police, Muroi cooperates in the investigation along with young detective Sakura from the Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigations Division.
Then, Riku’s father, who has served time and been released, visits.

A man who, despite his clumsiness, has protected the organization, fought against it, and lived for it, now, in his own straightforward and earnest way, has desperately protected his family.
