その際に欠かせないのがオイルシールです。
フォーク内の細かいパーツは基本再利用可能ですが、ゴム部品であるオイルシール・ダストカバーは交換が基本です。
古く硬化したシールはオイル漏れの原因ですので、オイル交換と同時にシール類も交換しましょう。
こちらのオイルシールは耐油性に優れたゴム素材を利用しています。
フォークオイルの流出を防ぎつつ、ホコリやチリ、粉塵などを内部へ入れさせない機能もしっかり果たします。
