■ Miyazaki Sabo began cultivating tea by planting tea seeds over 80 years ago, in the early Showa period.
Our motto is "to make tea that invigorates those who drink it." We always strive to create tea that makes our customers feel energized, have their hearts soothed, find it delicious, and feel happy.

■ Gokase Town, where Miyazaki Sabo is located, is a mountainous area in northern Miyazaki Prefecture, offering views of Aso, Nekodake, Kuju, and Mt. Obaba. It is a town with very delicious water and air.
The tea fields are spread across a high-altitude area of 600m, and the temperature difference between morning and night produces very fragrant tea. Due to the high altitude, there are few pests, and Miyazaki Sabo began pesticide-free and chemical-fertilizer-free cultivation in 1983, obtaining Organic JAS certification in 2001.
■ Unlike steamed teas, our tea is made using the "kama-iri cha" (pan-fired tea) method, which is rare in Japan. The tea leaves are pan-fired during processing, resulting in a fragrant and refreshing taste. It pairs well with rice and is perfect for everyday drinking.
We are also experimenting with other teas using the pan-firing method, such as fragrant organic black tea, oolong tea, and san-nen bancha.
■ Although we face challenges such as extensive weeding and low yields due to pests and diseases, we all work hard to cultivate tea for safe and secure tea production.
In recognition of these efforts, we received the Emperor's Cup at the National Agricultural Festival in 2002.
How to Use
《How to Drink》Steep in boiling water for about one minute. You can also bring your desired amount of water to a boil, then simmer over low heat for about 2 minutes for a delicious taste.
