The ink of the newly developed "uni-ball one" uses a new pigment that minimizes the penetration of coloring agents into paper fibers, unlike general gel inks. The pigment used in "uni-ball one ink" is a uniquely developed bead-pack pigment that encapsulates the coloring agent within particles.

By encapsulating the pigment, which is the coloring agent of the ink, within particles and increasing the particle size, the penetration of the coloring agent into the paper surface is minimized. As a result, the coloring agent on the paper surface exhibits its true color, making black appear darker and colors appear more vivid.

[3 Features of the Newly Developed "uni-ball one Ink"]
(1) Write clear, memorable characters with deeper blacks and more vivid colors.
Compared to general gel inks, black color appears even darker. Joint research between our company and Ritsumeikan University has shown that darker, clearer characters are more easily remembered. By using "uni-ball one," which is darker than general gel inks, you can write characters that are easily remembered when you look back at your notes.

(2) Non-smudging, quick-drying ink
General quick-drying inks achieve quick drying by speeding up the penetration of ink into the paper. This can sometimes lead to ink smudging or show-through.
The newly developed "uni-ball one ink" achieves quick drying while allowing the liquid components to quickly penetrate the paper surface by changing the ratio of solid and liquid components within the ink, while leaving the solid coloring agent on the paper surface. It is a quick-drying ink that penetrates the paper quickly, but because it suppresses the absorption of coloring agents into the paper, it does not smudge or show through.

For those who use a red sheet for memorization learning, the 0.38mm tip is available in 3 colors (orange, baby pink, yellow) that can be hidden by a red sheet, and the 0.5mm tip is available in 2 colors (orange, yellow) that can be hidden by a red sheet.
