About the Artist
Tatsuya Tanaka is a miniatures artist and re-imagining author. Born inKumamoto, in 1981, Tanaka launched his MINIATURE LIFE projectthat re-imagines everyday objects from a miniature’s perspective in 2011.
As of April 2021, he has more than 2.8 million followers on Instagram.
His main works include the title backgrounds for the 2017 NHK serialdrama Hiyokko and the opening movie for the Nihombashi TakashimayaShopping Center. Tanaka’s publications include MINIATURE LIFE andMINIATURE LIFE 2 from SUIYOSHA Publishing Inc., SMALLWONDERS from NIPPAN IPS Co., Ltd. and MINIATURE TRIP INJAPAN from Shogakukan Inc.
