They serve Sakra (Indra), wear armor, and are depicted with angry expressions as they trample on evil spirits.

Named after hearing many sermons of Shakyamuni Buddha (Vaisravana), when worshiped alone, he is called "Bishamonten" and is also known as one of the Seven Lucky Gods, a god of victory and good fortune.

"Dhritarashtra" is the god who guards the eastern direction.
He serves Sakra, resides in the eastern middle part of Mount Sumeru, and has the role of defeating conflicts and evil to maintain peace in the country.
