Leave a margin of about 20 mm from the edges.* If too many ingredients are added, the unit may not be able to press shut, or ingredients may overflow and burn.* Pressing ingredients or seasonings with high moisture content, such as tomatoes or ketchup, may cause them to spill from between the plates.* If a spill occurs, stop use immediately, remove the power plug from the outlet, and wipe it off while the unit is still warm.* When cooking continuously, wipe away any food debris remaining on the plates.
