A Blu-ray disc featuring the live performance from the first day of the "Spirit On A Mission" Japan Tour 2015 on June 17th at Nakano Sunplaza, with the miraculous collaboration of Michael Schenker and Graham Bonnet, has arrived.
The entire show is captured with a single camera, offering a professional-shot quality experience with high-resolution, clear video and effective use of zoom shots, free from any visual obstructions. The audio is also synchronized for enjoyment, featuring a direct, superb sound recorded near the front of the stage for excellent clarity.
This Japan tour included a total of 5 performances in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. Both bands performed largely the same setlist. While the Graham Bonnet Band's set time was a relatively short 50 minutes, they delivered a powerful performance featuring beloved songs from their Rainbow and Alcatraz eras.
Following them, Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock took the stage. For the first time in 33 years since the 1982 release of "Assault Attack," Graham Bonnet joined as lead vocalist for "Desert Song" and "Assault Attack." This was their fifth collaboration since starting in Osaka, and as it was the final performance, it was deeply moving.
