Since the printing is done on the back side of semi-transparent paper, the design is visible through the front.
The cover is made of tracing paper, and the inner pages are made of Japanese paper with a rough surface on the front and a smooth surface on the back.
Yumi Otsuki
Born in Tokyo
After graduating from Tama Art University with a degree in Textile Design,
she worked in apparel planning and fiber-related jobs before releasing her original textiles.
She draws motifs inspired by natural scenes such as hydrangeas that have bled in the rain, pebbles collected at the seaside during travels, violets blooming at her feet,
and scenes from her travels that she finds beautiful and memorable.
She values her unique hand-drawn style.
Primarily, she incorporates her designs into textiles and creates items that brighten everyday life.
